Starbucks Dept 56 Collectibles

In 1995 Starbucks and Dept 56 put out two liscensed collectibles as part of their Snow Village and Main Street Collection. I was working at Starbucks when they were released so I was fotunate to get both items. These two collectibles were then retired in 2000. In a recent call to Starbucks Marketing dept trying to get some information on the Dept 56 line, they had no idea that these two items even existed. I wonder how is that possible? The value of these items varies - I know for sure that you can still purchase them on ebay. You can still find them for a decent price - but expect that to change. They are not going to be re-released and there are no known plans to do any more Dept 56 Starbucks collectibles. Currently the Starbucks Snow Village Building is valued at $175 and increasing. This is the Dept 56 "Starbucks Coffee Cart" - it comes in two pieces (the girl and the actual coffee cart and ceramic). It was part of the Snow Village Accessory. It sold for about $28 new and I have found it in ebay stores for $93 - though you can still find one in the auction style for much cheaper. But beware as it get's closer to Christmas/Holiday season expect that these are going to be in higher demand and fetching bigger prices.

Department 56 Stabucks Coffeehouse Building. It measures 9.5" high and ceramic. These are the only two liscensed pieces put out by Dept 56 for Starbucks.
